Diwali is certainly the biggest and the brightest of all Hindu festivals. This year Diwali falls on Sunday,October 30,2016.On Diwali, we all love to decorate our homes with the best Diwali home decors. So today i will help you to make Auspicious Ganesha Wall Hanging. This is very easy and can be made by simply quilling the paper. It has an adorable idol of Ganesha in its centre.
You can also gift this awesome wall hanging to family and friends on special events like Diwali,House warming and so on.
You'll need :
Hand Made Sheet
Pastel Sheet
Quilling strips
Stone embellishments
Macrame Thread
Silver Wire
Adhesive
Procedure :
First of all, We have to make a circle of yellow pastel sheet ( radius = 2.5cm, you can change the radius and color according to your wish)
After that we have to create a tight coil and teardrop using quilling tool. I've used the colours light pink , purple for coils and light green for teardrops. We have to make 9 light pink color coils , 9 purple color coils and 18 light green color teardrops (Roll the stripe and create empty circle and transform it into a teardrop shape by pinching one side of the circle to form a point) and paste them on yellow pastel circle using adhesive as shown in image below:
Now , We have a make a idol of Ganesha by simply quilling the paper.
For making a idol of Ganesha -
1. We have a make 8 teardrops, 1 eye, 2 empty circles and 1 triangle.
( I have used orange and purple stripes)
Roll the stripe and create empty circle and transform it into a eye shape by pinching both side of the circle to form a point.
Roll the stripe and create empty circle then create teardrop and transform it into a triangle shape by pinching the rounded bottom.
After that paste all the quilled shapes as shown in the image below using adhesive to form a idol of Ganesha on yellow circular sheet.
Now we have to transform the 3 white-red tight coil into a bells shape using a quilling tool. Apply the adhesive inside the bells to hold the bell in a proper shape. Now we have to attach the silver wire to the bells to attach on the hand made sheet.
As shown in the image below:
We have to paste the bells on the back of Folded Hand made sheet using cello tape and after that it will look on the image given below:
Now we have make 2 equidistant holes on the back of folded handmade sheet to attach the macrame thread .. as shown in the image below:
After that we have to paste the handmade sheet and also we have to paste the Ganesha idol on the middle of the handmade sheet and it will look like as shown in the image below:
