HOW TO MAKE QUILLED JHUMKA UNDER $1
11 SeptemberYes you can easily make jhumkas with paper quilling.
I absolutely love paper ornaments you make it the way you want.
Today I’ll share with you how you can make this elegant piece of jewellery.
I love jhumkas and sometimes feel the struggle of not being able to find something that compliments your outfit.
So I decide to make earrings according to my outfits.
Also these are from paper so won’t even cost you much.
Let’s get started.
YOU’LL
NEED:
·
Quilling Paper
·
Adhesive
·
Scissors
·
Silver wire
·
Pastel sheet (just small piece of paper)
·
Cello tape
PROCEDURE:
·
Connect the three red stripes of quilling paper through
adhesive.
·
Then apply adhesive at the end of red stripes to form tight
coil.
·
The tight coil will be look like the image given below:
·
Again connect two yellow stripes with one red stripe
·
Again roll the stripes of yellow-red colors using the
quilling tool same as done above.
·
Also make a teardrop shape from the yellow stripe.
(Roll the stripe and create empty circle and transform it into a teardrop shape by pinching one side of the circle to form a point).
(Roll the stripe and create empty circle and transform it into a teardrop shape by pinching one side of the circle to form a point).
·
Now we have to transform the red tight coil into a bell shape
using a quilling tool.
·
Now we have to attach the silver wire to the bell. Also we
have to make a small loop of the wire to attach the teardrop to the end of the
silver wire.
(Use adhesive to fix the height of teardrop)
·
Now we have to paste a small piece of yellow pastel sheet on
the back of yellow-red tight coil.
(this is done to hold the silver wire properly on that coil)
Also we have to attach the yellow –red tight coil to the wire
as well as the bell using adhesive(also apply cello tape to fix the coil and wire).
(twist the extra wire available to make a earring hook)
